I am a developmental editor, certified project manager, and fiction book coach with decades of experience in the publishing industry. I earned my degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University and have worked as a technical writer, academic book editor, and proofreader throughout my career. As an avid reader of various fiction genres, I offer a keen eye for storytelling, structure, and publishing industry expectations. In addition to reading, I love exploring unique architecture, hiking trails in national parks, and gardening. I live in the Chicago area with my husband and our cat-in-the-stacks, Bella.
